Every event tells its story through detail — the props, the textures, the flowers, the objects that quietly set the scene. One of the things I love most about my work is the sourcing: the long days hunting down those perfect pieces that, together, create atmosphere and memory.
Behind the Scenes – From the Markets to Bergdorf Goodman’s
In New York, while producing a Camilla breakfast and dressing a pop up at Bergdorf Goodman’s, I spent the day weaving through the flower market and wandering the weird and wonderful suppliers of the West Village. I found myself haggling with Moroccan stallholders, gathering treasures that felt just right.
By the end of the day I’d walked 17.5 kilometres, arms full of bags and ideas, ready to bring it all to life. Seeing those pieces styled and set on the floor of Bergdorf Goodman’s made every step worthwhile — a reminder that behind every beautiful event lies a journey of finding and curating the details.
